OK, so I'm still not keeping up with this very well.
I did get the knitting finished on the bag, and I have the sides/center panel attached. I'm now working on attaching the I-cord accents. (as husband referred to them: "knitted snakes")
I discovered I enjoyed the I-cord--this was my first go-round with them. It does go quickly. More quickly than I expected.

I'll be begging a friend for her washer so I can felt in the coming week(s). Depends on when I can get to someone's house.... I have a front-loading machine, not recommended for felting!

Pictures to come soon....

I have since learned that newer front loaders will felt. It's the older ones that you may have problems with. My Duet front loader is 2 1/2 years old. I would consider that newer.

Good luck with your felting!

Thanks Betty!!
I have an older machine...so I'm going to try. I really don't know if my water will be hot enough...I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I'll do the "BCOD" method if it doesn't take...
